The cave

1.At first an audience will get inside the closet and the artist will lock it up, placing the key on the door of the closet.

2. Any audience who wants to get in the closet could go to unlock the closet then get inside and the closet will be locked up again.

3. The whole performance will stop when no one else is inside the closet.

Reclaim the wall

In the school, many areas are claimed to be "public space", but how public they could be? Space has been one of the primary subject in cultural studies; it reflexes the power domination and control.

This work was also inspired by the Situationist International

PixelPollock

[2002/Generative, sound poem]

Each pixels of the imported image will be transformed into hexadecimal code, the codes include letters and numbers will be further transformed following some rules.
0-9 is respectively replaced by g, h, j, k, l, m, n, p, q and r. And then all a and e will be replaced by space. Then we will have the space between strings without any vow sounds. Then 5 vow sound in English a, e, I, o and u will be put between each character.
The text file will then be read out by a speech to text software and produce a sound poem base on the image.
