A Loop: A Giant Metaphor [2004/B&W/13mins]
Synopsis:
“Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.” A panoramic view of vanity.

Director’s Note:
During art critic sessions, there is always someone try to make sense of every little details, while there is not really that much to be told. Does digital art gives us a way to be more precise and thus to find more meaning from the picture? How much more “new” explanations of Mona Lisa will be told?
“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”
This is an experiment on space, existence and… much and about nothing.
Excerpt of Ecclesiastes was used as dialog.
